As part of the churches initiative Love Norton ’14 there will be a treasure hunt on Sunday April 6th, from 2pm until 4pm. Families and friends can start the trail from any church, picking up a quiz sheet wherever they begin, and go around answering questions. There will also be child-friendly questions. Refreshments will be available in each church, with a warm welcome, so you can stop for refreshments when convenient. Everyone who takes part is invited to gather at the Salvation Army at 3.45pm for a final prize giving from the treasure hunt questions and celebration of the afternoon. The event is completely free and open to all.
Churches are Trinity Methodist, Commercial Street; Bethel Methodist, Commercial Street; St Peter’s Church, Langton Road; Salvation Army, Wood Street and Elim Ryedale, held at Norton College, Langton Road.
