Norton Community Primary School is a School for boys and girls between the ages of 4 and 11 with a nursery unit for children aged from 3 upwards.
The main school was built in 1911, extended with two classrooms in 1946 and again in 1972, when a new hall and four classrooms were added.
In 2001 a further wing of four classrooms was added. In 2003 a new main entrance, office and library was completed.
The school also has an ICT suite.
There is also an additional temporary classroom on the site.
There are three playgrounds, one playing field and an Adventure Playground.
There are approximately 440 students on role.
