The churches in Norton have come together to plan and launch Love Norton 14! Love Norton 14 is an initiative to share God’s love in Norton and enjoy celebrating being a great community. Some exciting big community events have been planned, as well as smaller events run by individual churches. There will be a termly newsletter delivered to every household in Norton to let people know what is happening and how they can get involved. Information is also available on Facebook www.facebook.com/LoveNorton14 and the blog, lovenorton14.wordpress.com. Questions and comments are welcomed via firstname.lastname@example.org and will be responded to by our team of pastors, vicars and lay members of all the churches in Norton.
Our first two events are and evening of music and testimony from John Gaughan (of Herman’s Hermits), at Trinity Menthodist Church on 1st February (Free), 7pm; and An Evening with Bobby Ball on Friday 21st February at St. Peter’s Church House, 7.30pm.
It is really exciting to have Bobby Ball coming to Norton, and the evening promises to be entertaining and interesting, as Bobby shares stories of his life and faith in an entertaining and relaxed way. Tickets are only £5 (U16’s accompanied by an adult go free), which includes refreshments, and can be purchased by calling 01653 699961, visiting Eventbrite.com or on the door. We advise booking in advance to avoid disappointment!
‘We really hope this will be a great year of celebrating Norton and discovering God’s love in a new way.’ Eve Ridgeway, Ordinand at St. Peter’s Church, Norton
